MY BLOW UP COLLAR

Hi Everydoggie!

The good news if that Mom found an alternative to the dreaded lamp shade! I really needed it because the sight of that lamp shade made me run and HIDE! It was BAD! Anyway, Mom found this alternative -- it is a blow up collar similar to the kind of thing a child would wear swimmies ... It is much more user friendly than than the lampshade in that it is tolerable ... When Mom heard me licking furiously at midnight last night, my new, special collar went on and it will not come off until my stitches come OUT in 10 or so more days ...

All in all I am doing better ... Still not feeling myself, but these things take time, right?

Putter, you look cute with that tyre around your neck. I hope the stitches come off soon. In order for that to happen, you have to be good, dun disturb your wound and rest up to recover to the fullest in the shortest period of time. Doesn't it feels like you are being sterilised for a 2nd time?

Get well soon.

Putter Gurrrl!

I'm so STINKIN' GLAD that you are now home and not sporting a lampshade! YOur mama is soooo resourceful.

Be a good Putter, now, and listen to your mama. She's taking such good care of you.

We've been thinking lots about you and praying you get back to your old self SOON!

By the way, you still look cute even if you don't feel that well. I'm not surprised, though.

Goober love & healing goob smooches,
Stanley

Hi Putter, thank dog you don't have to wear the dreaded lampshade. That blowup collar looks pretty cool, I bet you could use if for swimming once you are healed! At least it allows you to move around easily and eat and play. I'm sure you will be feeling better soon. I was what Mom called weird like for a few days after I got neutered. I think it just takes a few days for our bodies to get back to normal. I sure hope you are feeling wonderful soonest!

Your pal,
Kirby

Your Mom is great ! No lampshade .... but you look so sad my poor Putter. I hope you will feel better soon....

Oh, you shouldn't be licking the stitched part Faya or else it will not heal fast. That balloon collar looks is funny but I guess, it's much more comfortable & less heavy to wear.

Oh poor Putter! Mummy is always worried about corn cobs too. So glad mummy saw you eat it and could go straight to the vet. Feel better soon.

Putter -
Asta suggested I visit you. Good to see that you are feeling OK. Momma was upset reading about the corn cob because just last week we had leftover corn cobs and she almost gave me one! Now she knows.

Putter...you are being the best patient!!! I know I've been a little strict with all the walking, turning, coughing and deep breathing, but with abdominal surgery, it's very 'portant to do all of these things! Ur mom's idea of the blowup collar was sheer genius! I'm definitely getting one for myself to take swimming so my curls don't get wet!

Now I have to dash off into the kitchen to make you another nootritious smooothie...I thought we'd have wallymelon flavored ones today...and my haven't the hooman pups been sleepin' better since we put smoothie's in their bottles? I have a special recipe for them.

I thought to take ur mind off ur stitches, we'd do a little online shoppin' today...perhaps for some wildly feminine things...ya know...scarves, jewelry and SHOES...

Healin' lickies but not to ur stitches, Girl!!!!

Poor you, Putter. But the collar doesn't look so bad. Hope the stitches will be out soon.

Hi Putter,

It's me, Koobuss. I feel so sorry for you having to wear that blue inner tube and not being able to have any fun for a while in the middle of the summer. Poor Putter. Hang in there, sweetie. Pretty soon you will be better. And, at least you don't have to wear that awful lampshade, like Koobus II did when he had an eye infection. (Actually, he wore a cardboard box that the vet made up for him. That was in the days before lampshades. Whatever.)

Putter, that collar is a brilliant idea. Wish we'd known about it for when Tess had her boo boo. You're so right the lampshade is a nightmare to wear.
We're very glad to hear you're feeling better. Those horrible corn cobs are bad news.
Stay well.

Hi Putter! That collar looks much more safe than the lampshade. It's soft so you won't be making all your people have black and blue marks on their leggies. We aren't surprised that you aren't feeling the greatest yet, but you WILL! We're still sending lots of Aire-zen!

Aire-hugs,

Hey, if you ever fall off a cruise ship, you'll be okay! Looks like a cool donut.

Now what's with this corn cob thing? Bailey got her human mom all upset once when she swallowed a chipmunk whole, but we think that corn cobs must be a lot harder to digest.

Give your mum a well-deserved break and stay away from pineapples!

Cheers,

Hi Putter!
Well, that collar sure is a lot better than a lampshade at least!
It's been a little bit more than 10 days since you posted this post, so that must mean you've gotten your stitches off, right?
We hope everything's well!
